In an old cottage in the North West of Ireland
the Sligo Band CADENZA did the recording
to their debut-album MAKING WAVES.


This was the beginning of DOOLITTLE RECORDING.
The idea emerged out of a dream to renovate an old Irish cottage
and to transform it into a studio space
where musicians from near and far could avail of an opportunity
to record their music in an authentic and inspiring homely atmosphere.


2004 the dream came true.
The studiospace in a renovated shed is ready to record.
In June 2004 DOOLITTLE RECORDING was born.


Urs Lanz is no stranger to sound engineering and recording.
Having his own studio back home in Bern, Switzerland,
he also has a broad range of experience working with many Swiss bands
and individual musicians of all different musical genres for many years.
He specializes in recording acoustic music.
