We started playing together as NoCrows Quartet in 2005 at weekly sessions in ‘Shoot the Crows’, a well known pub in Sligo, Ireland (thanks Uisce!). We all come from fairly different musical backgrounds, but rather than fighting over which style is best, we decided to mix them together and see what would come out of it.The band’s sound is dominated by elements of Classical, Irish Traditional, Jazz, Rock, Latin and World Music and our repertoire is truly global, with music from Moldova, Russia, Greece and beyond...always on the lookout for a good tune.
